How I Serve Wareham
I'm Sheri Francis with BOLD Real Estate, and Wareham is personal to me too, my first dental job was here, long before real estate. All of my patients were from the local community, and that was what I loved about it, the small-town feel, and genuinely feeling like part of it. I spent a lot of time around Wareham Center, enjoying the local restaurants and that same small-town pace I still notice today.
Wareham Neighborhoods & Communities
Wareham is really a handful of distinct villages rather than one center. Onset, on Buzzards Bay, got its start in the late 1800s as a Spiritualist summer camp, and it still has the Victorian-era cottages and storefronts to show for it, lined up along a crescent-shaped beach, with a real arts and music scene that includes the Onset Blues Festival every August. Wareham Center holds the town's well-preserved 18th and 19th-century buildings and is its historic core. East Wareham and West Wareham are more residential, and with 57 miles of coastline, the town has smaller beach-focused pockets too, like Swifts Beach and Point Independence.
