A bit of history
Quinn Elementary hasn't always been an elementary school. The building originally housed Dartmouth Middle School, and it wasn't until September 2003 that it took on its current role — the result of a district-wide redistricting made necessary by steadily rising enrollment and overcrowding across Dartmouth's elementary schools. That reshuffling is part of why Quinn today is the largest of the town's four elementary buildings: it was designed and built for an older, larger student body, and simply changed grade levels rather than changing size.
